Why is the winnipeg class free? 


The Encounter Weight Loss program reaches around the globe with our online audience. Global online members pay a fee to attend our livestream classes and receive membership in our online support group. By participating in our free Winnipeg class, you help us to bring our program to those who need it as we livestream our classes on Tuesday evenings.
(Class members never appear on camera as we record our classes).  

As a local class member, you will receive a free introductory package to our program, weekly coaching, weigh-ins, group support in our tuesday class, and a free membership in our online support group as long as you are attending meetings.


Weigh-Ins start at 6:30 and class starts at 7:00
Coffee and friendship are served between 6:30-7:00. 
 Class runs until 8:30 
 one of our class leaders will be available after each class to answer program questions.
Our Winnipeg class is open to adults over the age of 18 or teens over 16 with written consent from a parent or guardian.
Childcare is not available during the classes and we can not accommodate your children in the class (even if they are quiet) due to our livestream equipment and recording process.  Please make other arrangements for your children.       
        

​We meet in the lower level of the wave church.     
  364 furby street. located 1/2 block off portage
  directly across from the university of winnipeg daycare centre.

There is free parking along the south side of the church building.
​please disregard "reserved" signs on the building during the            
​evenings. all stalls in the lot are available for free parking at night.
